Curriculum Overviews & Medium Term Plans
The school operates a 50 period per fortnight model at both key stages. All of the days are of equal length, with students attending school for a minimum of 32.5 hours. All lessons are 60 minutes in length with the exception of the first period of the day which is 65 minutes long.

*In the spring and summer term, geography and history is studied for 7 periods per fortnight.
**Triple science students will be required to select the subjects in this option block which will be amalgamated with the time allocated in the core curriculum.
***Citizenship and RE are delivered through 2 x ½ hour home period lessons per fortnight in Year 10. Core RE is not studied in Year 11, however citizenship is studied for 2 periods per fortnight, for the duration of the Autumn term only.
