Author Ali Sparkes Visits Hathershaw

On Monday 18th May, author Ali Sparkes visited the school to work with our Year 8 students.

During the workshop she spoke to our students about her passion for writing and many of her children’s books, including the award winning Frozen in Time, Shapeshifter and S.W.I.T.C.H. series. She inspired the students to explore their imagination and encouraged them to express their creative writing skills. The students enjoyed creating their own stories and discussing them with her and the group, finding more exciting and fun ideas for developing them.

Our students loved sampling her new book, Dark Summer and its thrilling storyline.
