Community Fire Cadets

The Community Fire Cadets held their 'Passing Out Parade' at school, followed by a sponsored drill exercise (running out the hose).  It was a wonderful event witnessed by staff, parents a members of the Blue Watch crew at Hollins Fire Station.

The students have now completed a two year course achieving a BTEC certificate. Some will continue as junior instructors.

The cadets meet every Tuesday at Hollins Fire Station and recruitment is now taking place for the September intake.
