GCSE Results Day 2016

On Thursday 25th August 2016 it was time for students to collect their GCSE results - and it was The Hathershaw College's best ever year!

Hundreds of students arrived at 10:00am to find coffee and donuts waiting for them, but first was the small matter of finding out what the years of hard work had in store for them! Students laughed, cried, hugged and celebrated together for one last time (video above, pictures below) as they all now undertake a different part of their journey through life.

We would like to wish everybody good luck in their future success.

Headline Figures

• 5 A*-C inc. Maths & English - 59%
• English Baccalurette = 25%
• Progress 8 = +0.44
• Value Added = 1024.9
• English A*-C = 73.1%
• Maths A*-C = 65%
• A*-C in English and Maths = 60%
