GCSE Results Day 2017

On Thursday 24th August 2017 it was time for students to collect their GCSE results - and it was a set of fantastic results!

Considering the more challenging courses in both English and Maths, and the uncertainty around the grade boundaries, this was welcome news to both staff and students. Principal Dave McEntee said "I'm delighted with these results given the significantly more challenging circumstances".

Hundreds of students arrived at 9:00am to find their personally addressed envelopes waiting for them, shedding light on what the years of hard work had in store for them! Students laughed, cried, hugged and celebrated together for one last time (video above, pictures below) as they all now undertake a different part of their journey through life.
