Happy Birthday Shakespeare

Happy Birthday Shakespeare

Tuesday 26th April 2016 marks the birthday of the great William Shakespeare, with Sunday 23rd April 2016 also marking the 400th anniversary of his death.  To mark these occasions, students asked some of our staff two out of three questions;

1) What do you know about Shakespeare?

2) What does Shakespeare mean to you?

3) Why do you think we should study Shakespeare?

These videos will be watched by ALL students all this week in Assemblies (Mon. 18th April-Fri. 22nd April). Please feel free to watch our videos below.  A new one will be posted each day this week.

 Oldham Library are holding two free events on Saturday 23rd April;

 Be a Bard from 12noon-2pm and Shakespeare-to-Screen in their small cinema showing Gnomeo and Juliet at 2pm and Romeo & Juliet at 7pm.
