Hathershaw Presented The Duke Of Edinburgh Licence

Hathershaw were delighted to be presented with their Duke of Edinburgh licence by Pam Sleigh, the operational manager from DofE (north).

Our first cohort of Duke of Edinburgh students are out on their expedition in Chorley next month. These students have been busy following skills courses in camp cooking, sign language and first aid. They have done a host of practical skills for their physical element and have either officiated at primary sport or attended fire cadets for the volunteering element of the DofE.

We hope to have a first group qualified by the end of July.
