MFL Trip to Paris
On Wednesday 4th October, our MFL team took 42 pupils out of the country on their annual trip to Paris. Pupils from Year 9 and 10 had the opportunity to go on a 2 night stay in France and experience the French culture and lifestyle. They had a brilliant time exploring the French cuisine and treated their taste buds to garlic snails (yum!). Pupils and staff put their French knowledge to the test as they navigated their way around the city. It was fantastic to see our students putting their language skills to use. During their trip, they enjoyed a day at Disneyland and visited Parc de Princes where they toured the stadium where Paris Saint-Germain F.C. play. It was a great and memorable experience for all.
We understand the value of learning beyond the classroom which is why we focus on creating experiences and opportunities to help maximise time at school, and make a difference to the lives of our pupils. At Hathershaw, we offer all of our pupils the opportunity to visit different countries and experience a variety of cultures, helping them prepare for life beyond the school gates.
