Pinnacle Trust Run Manchester 10k
Once again, staff from The Pinnacle Learning Trust have completed the Great Manchester Run. On Sunday 19th May, staff from Oldham Sixth Form College, The Hathershaw College and Werneth Primary School joined forces to walk or run the 10k course. Jayne Clarke, Principal of OSFC and Executive Principal of the Pinnacle Learning Trust said “I am so proud to have been part of ‘Team Pinnacle’ for the Manchester 10K again. It was fantastic to have such a brilliant team of colleagues from all three academies taking part and plenty of others supporting us on the day too.”
This year, staff ran for two charities: Maggie’s Oldham and Christies. All staff members were involved in choosing to support these fantastic causes, who do so much to improve the lives of those in need and their families. So far, over £6200 has been raised!
Since completing the 10k last year, staff have continued to participate in regular walking and running groups in nearby Alexandra Park. This activity is great for staff wellbeing and encourages them to stay active.
Thank you to everyone who has supported our fundraising for this amazing cause!
