Return Visit for Ali Sparkes
On Tuesday 10th November, author Ali Sparkes visited the school once again to work with some of our Year 7 & 8 students.
During the workshop, she spoke to our students about her passion for writing and many of her children’s books, including the award winning Frozen in Time, Shapeshifter and S.W.I.T.C.H. series. She inspired the students to explore their imagination and encouraged them to express their creative writing skills. The students enjoyed creating their own stories and discussing them with her and the group, exploring a range of exciting and fun ideas for developing them.
Later on in the day, four lucky students were chosen to receive a signed copy of her book, S.W.I.T.C.H: Spider Stampede.
