STEM Go Karts

On Wednesday 22nd February, a range of students in year 9 and 10 took part in an exciting STEM event, delivered by Big Bang Promotions. The event centred on electric Go Karts and involved an engaging lesson on Ergonomics and Aerodynamics, followed by a practical session. During which, students got the chance to have a go at riding an electric Go Kart, while their peers recorded speed measurements.

The purpose of the event was to allow students to develop their understanding of how electric vehicles work, and how we can improve them. Students had a fantastic time learning about the importance of STEM and it's impact on our lifestyle, the environment and future. It was a fun and educational experience for all.
