The Oldham Pledge Launch
On Thursday 2nd of February 2017 we will officially launch The Oldham Pledge to all of our Year 7 students, and we would like to invite their friends and family to join us as well.
The Oldham Pledge is a pilot programme for the local authority. Each student in Year 7 has been issued with a Passport to Success, which will be filled out as-and-when one of the 14 pledges is completed.
The event will be held in our school hall from 5:00-6:00pm and will give both parents and students the chance to find out more about The Oldham Pledge and the opportunity to speak to local employers and organisations who are supporting the scheme that will help your child fulfil their pledges.
The evening will begin with a short presentation and then there will be networking opportunities (organised in a marketplace) with complimentary refreshments being provided.
Please download the letter, below, and complete the attached slip and return to either Miss Philip (Assistant Principal & Oldham Pledge Co-ordinator) or Mrs Blundell (your child’s year manager) by Friday 30th January.
