Year 11 Leavers' Dinner

On Friday 12th June, Year 11 students were all invited to attend the Leavers' Dinner, or more commonly referred to as the "Prom", at Village Hotel, Ashton-under-Lyne.

As ever, the event was very well attended and a great time was had by all, with the students behaving impeccably throughout.  Students had the chance to toast the completion of their GCSE exams, and to celebrate for one last time with their friends and fellow students, some who they will not see for a very long time (or ever again), and some of whom will remain life-long friends.

Accompanying the celebrations was the opportunity to walk the red carpet and stop for a picture in the photo booth, utilising the plethora of props at their disposal to further enhance the memories. Orange juice and a generous buffet selection was on offer, along with a bar strictly serving soft-drinks only to re-hydrate after an evening of partying.

Entertainment was provided by Vijay the DJ, who preferred to use his own bass when it came to playing songs via two large drums, and actively participated in the event to the delight of staff and students.
