Our Facilities

We have some outstanding facilities at the college including suited ICT rooms and dedicated Technology facilities comprising 2 food rooms, 3 Product Design rooms and the use of CAD-CAM (computer-aided design & computer-aided manufacturing) machines and software. We have an all-weather 3G pitch for sport and a fitness suite.

We have a brand-new music room and Art rooms. All classrooms are equipped with projectors and audio and the majority also benefit from visualisers.

Our modern library is bursting with books by award winning authors. The library is a natural hub for readers, but at Hathershaw College our aim is to encourage all students to access the facility.  This is enabled by staff promoting the benefits of the library along with providing opportunities in lessons for students to attend and use the facilities.  The librarian also promotes the library by organising competitions, book reviews and reading activities for students to engage with throughout the year.
