Useful Websites for Home Learning Week 2
As always at The Hathershaw College, your well-being and learning is at the forefront of everything we do, therefore these links consist of:
- educational documentaries and YouTube revision channels that cover a range of subjects
- Arts, Language and Current Affairs websites that allow you to keep up to date with what is happening in the news, visit world famous art galleries and improve your ability learn another language
- more useful educational websites that cover all subjects across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- sites to access past GCSE papers in order to further enhance and hone your revision
- subject specifics sites provided by teachers that will require and provide you with a log in (you should already have received them from your teachers)
- Year 11: A-Level Prep.
- GCSEPod ‘Getting ready for …’ resources that can be found in both the Year 11: A-Level Prep and General Helpful Webistes zones. These provide some preliminary activities to help you with the transition between KS3 to KS4 and KS4 to KS5
Again these websites are to complement the activities that dedicated staff are creating for you, and do not replace the work you will be set by your subject teachers but will provide extra support and knowledge that should increase your understanding and further enable you to complete the assignments you are set.
