MiSST Virtual Assembly
The Music in Secondary Schools Trust (MiSST) is a charity which provides whole class classical instruments and tuition to children in seventeen schools across the UK. The Hathershaw College are one of the first two schools In the North West to be offered a place on the programme, and in September 2020, all students in Year 7 were provided with a Violin.
Students have worked hard over the last 12 weeks to play some basic pieces and read music. Each term, students will give a short assembly for staff, parents and carers. Due to the current pandemic, our first MiSST Assembly is virtual, but we are incredibly excited to give parents and carers a flavour of the work completed in lessons.
