60th Birthday Party

On Sunday 17th May 2015, ex-students and staff were invited to the college to celebrate our 60th Anniversary with current staff and students.

The event was very well attended, which included entertainment from our steel drum band and presentations of pictures and videos through the years, and refreshments with birthday cake!  After the formalities, party-goers had the opportunity to take a tour of the school to see how it has changed since the building was first opened on 17th May 1955, and reminisce with each other.  Lots of stories were told, and it is clear that The Hathershaw College has had a huge impact within the Oldham area.
